Terms of Service
Effective August 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of LoanMate, operated by JJWJY, INC.. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who may use LoanMate
LoanMate is intended for mortgage professionals who are properly licensed and authorized to handle borrower information in their jurisdiction. You are responsible for confirming that your use of the service complies with the rules of your license, your employer, and your regulator.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
This is beta software
LoanMate is currently in beta. That has real consequences you should plan around:
- Features may change, be removed, or behave differently without notice.
- The service may be unavailable at times, including without warning.
- Data loss is possible. Do not use LoanMate as the only record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- The beta is provided free of charge, and we may end it or begin charging with reasonable notice.
Your account and your data
- You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You are responsible for everything entered into your account.
- Before entering a borrower's information, you are responsible for having whatever consent or authority your regulator, employer and applicable law require.
- You retain ownership of the records you create. We claim no ownership of your borrower data.
What LoanMate is not
LoanMate is a workflow and document-tracking tool. It is not a loan origination system, and it does not:
- Underwrite loans or run automated underwriting.
- Price loans, lock rates, or select products.
- Pull credit or verify any information a borrower provides.
- Produce disclosures, closing documents, or regulatory filings.
- Give legal, financial, tax or compliance advice.
The checklist is a tool, not a guarantee
The document checklist is generated from the answers entered in the interview. It is a starting point built on general rules — it does not account for every lender overlay, investor requirement, program variation or exception that may apply to a given file.
You remain professionally responsible for determining what a file actually requires. A file marked "Ready for Initial Review" in LoanMate means the required items on that checklist are marked received. It is not a representation that the file is complete, compliant, or acceptable to any lender.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, or to store information you have no right to hold.
- Do not attempt to access another account's data, probe our systems, or interfere with the service.
- Do not resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.
- Do not use the email features to send unsolicited bulk messages.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the checklist output is correct or complete for any particular loan.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, delayed or failed closings, or lost data, arising out of your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. During the free beta, that amount is one hundred US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply to the extent permitted.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms, or discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
