Privacy Policy
Effective August 10, 2026
This policy explains what LoanMate ("we", the service operated by JJWJY, INC.) collects, why, and what we do with it. LoanMate is a workflow tool for licensed mortgage professionals. It is not a lender and does not make lending decisions.
Two kinds of people are described here
A loan officer is our customer — they create an account and use the app.
A borrower is the loan officer's client. Borrowers do not have accounts and do not log in. Information about a borrower reaches us only because a loan officer typed it in.
For borrower information, the loan officer decides what to collect and why; we hold it on their behalf. If you are a borrower with a question about your information, contact your loan officer first — they control that record.
What we collect
- Loan officer account: your email address. We sign you in with a one-time link sent to that address, so we never store a password for you.
- Optional profile details you enter, such as your name and company.
- Borrower records a loan officer enters: name, and optionally phone number and email address.
- Loan workflow data: answers to the in-app interview (multiple-choice answers about the loan scenario, such as occupancy type and income type), the resulting document checklist, and whether each document is Not Requested, Requested or Received.
- Activity records: significant actions taken on a loan, with timestamps, so the loan history is auditable.
- A record of document-request emails sent from the app.
This website itself collects nothing. There is no form, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie set by us.
What we do not collect
This list is deliberate, not incidental. The app has no file upload and no document storage at all.
- We do not receive, store or transmit borrower documents. The checklist records the *status* of a document, never the document itself.
- Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, dates of birth.
- Bank account, card or loan account numbers.
- Credit reports, credit scores, or any data from a credit bureau.
- Income amounts, asset balances, or property valuations.
- Location data, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for advertising.
How we use it
- To operate the service: signing you in, generating checklists, sending the emails you ask us to send, and showing your data back to you.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose faults.
- To contact you about the beta, service changes, or support issues you raise.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use borrower information to train machine learning models.
Who else touches the data
We use a small number of service providers to run the product. They process data on our instructions only:
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting, running on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States (Northern California region).
- Amazon Web Services — hosting for this website.
- An email delivery provider, used to send sign-in links and the document-request emails you compose in the app.
Where it is stored and how it is separated
Data is stored in the United States. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Each loan officer's records are isolated at the database level by row-level security, so one account cannot read or modify another account's prospects, loans, interview answers or checklists. We verified this with live cross-account testing on August 8, 2026.
No security measure is absolute. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
How long we keep it
- Your account data and loan records are kept while your account is active.
- Archived prospects and loans remain in your account and stay searchable — archiving is not deletion.
- If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain something by law.
Your choices
You can view and edit everything in your account from inside the app. To request an export or deletion of your account, or to ask a question about this policy, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to request correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Children
LoanMate is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
